Drink ample of water:

It would be better to avoid OTC antacids. This is because those which contain aluminium as an ingredient might give rise to constipation. It would therefore be better to avoid such antacids. Rather, you can sip on cold milk in between meals. You can even chew mint leaves to cure acidity.

Take healthy meals:

You should avoid heavy meals. Rather distribute those meals into smaller ones. Try to include yogurt once a day. Handful of wholegrain cracker and vegetable soups would also be good option. Try chapatti, salad and cheese.
